Please note that print sizes are always approximate. Sometimes they may vary slightly so we advise you wait until you’ve received your photos before purchasing any frames.

Should you decide to frame your photo yourself you should avoid putting the glass straight onto the photo as the high gloss nature of the print might cause them to stick together, creating a 'wet patch' effect.

In order to show your photo to its best advantage, we do suggest you get it framed professionally.  However when doing so you need to be aware of the following:

Water Babies photos are printed on the highest quality photographic paper (Fuji Crystal Archive).  Before being placed in a frame your photo will be mounted onto a solid background like cardboard.  A heat press is generally used for this process.

It is vital that the heat press is set at much lower temperatures when mounting photographic prints than those used for mounting paintings, litho prints etc.  If the heat is too high your photo will literally bake and bubbles/blisters will start appearing, either instantly or over time.

We would strongly advise that this part of the framing process is carried out by a professional photo processing lab who will be used to mounting high gloss prints.  You should ensure that your framer is aware of these special requirements.
