In order to ensure the babies’ complete wellbeing, we strongly believe that none should attend an underwater photo shoot without having first been on a course, involving a structured, gradual build-up of underwater work. Babies who attend a shoot without enough experience won’t have built up the necessary stamina or familiarity for the event and run the risk of being thoroughly upset by the experience. Each baby will be given three photos - which again we believe to be the right amount to ensure your baby fully enjoys the experience and doesn't become too tired.

The shoots generally take place at the end of the week or at a weekend and are held in a private local pool. At the session your child will be allocated a 15-minute slot – allowing for each shot to be taken with a good rest in between.
After a brief warm-up a specially trained Water Babies instructor will place your child underwater for you. You then stand behind the photographer and give the same ‘name, ready, go’ command that you use whenever you swim your baby.
